Afternoon visit to the Old Via Appia, S.Maria Maggiore, S. Giovani, Scala Santa and the Catacombs. Rome is well known for its Trattoria and homemade pasta. In the afternoon transfer to the Vatican for a guided visit of the Museum. Vatican art and history always leaves a profound impression on visitors to Rome: discover the masterpieces of Greek and Roman ancient art, works of Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. Early morning transfer to Sorrento by private coach. Upon arrival in Pompeii, meet with the guide to visit the ruins destroyed 2000 years ago by the eruption of Vesuvius. Spend the day visiting the Afeltra Pasta Maker where you will learn how to prepare pasta according to the old Italian recipes. Afterwards visit one of the most intriguing Farm Houses, located on the volcano, where vineyards and fruit trees grew facing the Gulf of Naples and Capri taking advantage of the rich soil. Meet your guide and transfer to the Sorrento piers for your excursion to the Island of Capri. Visit Anacapri, a small village famous for the magnificent Villa San Michele. Continue to Capri and enjoy lunch on your own. Visit of the villages of Anacapri and Capri: Augusto Gardens, Via Tragara, la Piazzetta. In the afternoon, transfer to Sorrento.
